Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK CONTINUITY BETWEEN AV CONTROL UNIT AND BOSE SPEAKER AMP.

Ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect AV control unit connector and Bose speaker amp. connector.
Check continuity between AV control unit connector and Bose speaker amp. connector.

AV control unit Bose speaker amp. Continuity

Connector Terminal Connector Terminal

M161 1 B121 20 Yes
Check continuity between AV control unit connector and ground.

AV control unit Ground Continuity

Connector Terminal

M161 1 — No

AV control unit	Bose speaker amp.	Continuity
M161	1	B121	20	Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

CHECK AV CONTROL UNIT VOLTAGE

Connect AV control unit connector.
Ignition switch ON.
Check voltage between AV control unit connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace Bose speaker amp. Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO>>

Replace AV control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.
