DESCRIPTION
ITS COMMUNICATION
-
ITS communication is a multiplex communication system. This enables the system to transmit and receive large quantities of data at high speeds by connecting control units with two communication lines.
-
ITS communication lines adopt twisted-pair line style (two lines twisted) for noise immunity.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
CONSULT
-
Start the engine.
-
Turn the MAIN switch of ICC system ON.
-
Perform “All DTC Reading” with CONSULT.
-
Check if the “U1000” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “LASER/RADAR”.
Is “U1000” detected as the current malfunction?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO>>Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
PERFORM THE SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT
CONSULT

Turn the ignition switch ON.
-
Turn the MAIN switch of ICC system ON, and then wait for 2 seconds or more.
-
Perform “All DTC Reading” with CONSULT.
-
Check if the “U1000” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “LASER/RADAR”.
Is “U1000” detected as the current malfunction?
YES>>Refer to Trouble Diagnosis Flow Chart.
NO>>Inspection End.
