UNIT LOW TEMP | Temperature detected by the temperature sensor integrated in distance sensor (ICC sensor) remains less than -40 °C for 5 seconds or more |
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Temperature around the distance sensor (ICC sensor) becomes extremely low
FAIL-SAFE
The following systems are canceled.
-
Vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode
-
Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) with pedestrian
-
Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
CONSULT
-
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
-
Wait for 10 minutes or more.
-
Start the engine.
-
Turn the ICC MAIN switch of ICC system ON.
-
Perform “All DTC Reading” with CONSULT.
-
Check if the “C1A23-97” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” of “LASER/RADAR”.
Is “C1A23-97” detected as the current malfunction?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure..
NO>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO>>Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
CHECK ENVIRONMENT CONDITION
Check ambient temperature.
Is ambient temperature 0°C (32°F) or more?
YES>>Replace the distance sensor (ICC sensor). Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Perform check again at 0°C (32°F) or more.
