Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK STEERING WHEEL AUDIO CONTROL SWITCH RESISTANCE

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect combination switch connector.

  3. Check resistance between the terminals of combination switch connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Replace steering switches. Refer to Removal and Installation.

CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN COMBINATION METER AND COMBINATION SWITCH

  1. Disconnect combination meter connector and combination switch connector.

  2. Check continuity between combination meter connector and combination switch connector.

  3. Check continuity between combination meter connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

CHECK COMBINATION SWITCH

Check continuity between combination switch connectors.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 4.

NO>>

Replace spiral cable. Refer to Removal and Installation.

CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN COMBINATION METER AND AV CONTROL UNIT

  1. Disconnect combination meter connector and AV control unit connector.

  2. Check continuity between combination meter connector and AV control unit connector.

Replace audio unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

    Power Supply and Ground Circuit. Av Control Unit
