| 4. | Park position switch | This switch closes to provide ground to the solenoid. |
| 5. | BCM (Body Control Module) | When the stop lamp switch signal is received by the BCM, the BCM supplies power to the shift lock solenoid coil. |
| 6. | Stop lamp switch | When the stop lamp switch supplies power to the BCM, the BCM supplies power to the shift lock solenoid. |

Vehicle security system NISSAN Vehicle Immobilizer SystemThe vehicle security system provides visual and audible alarm signals if someone opens the doors, liftgate or the hood when the system is armed. It is not, however, a motion detection type system that activates when a vehicle is moved or when a vibration occurs.
