DTC Description

DTC DETECTION LOGIC

NOTE:

If DTC “C1A17–49” is detected along with DTC “U1000–01”, first diagnose the DTC “U1000–01”. Refer to DTC Description.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Distance sensor (ICC sensor)

FAIL-SAFE

The following systems are canceled:

• Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC)

• Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)

• Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) with pedestrian detection

• Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (I-FCW)

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CHECK DISTANCE SENSOR SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS

CONSULT

Check if “U1000-01” is also detected with “C1A17-49” in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “LASER/RADAR”.

Is “U1000-01” detected?

Perform diagnosis of applicable. Refer to DTC Description.

GO TO 2.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

1. Start the engine.

2. Turn the AEB system ON.

3. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “LASER/RADAR”.

4. Check if the “C1A17-49” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “LASER/RADAR”.

Is “C1A17-49” detected as the current malfunction?

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

CHECK ADAS CONTROL UNIT SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT

CONSULT

1. Perform “All DTC Reading” mode.

2. Check if “U1000–01” is detected other than “C1A17–49” in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “ICC/ADAS”.

Is “U1000–01”detected?

Perform diagnosis on the detected DTC and repair or replace the malfunctioning parts. Refer to DTC Description.

GO TO 2.

CHECK DISTANCE SENSOR (ICC SENSOR) SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT

Check if any DTC is detected in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “LASER/RADAR”.

Is any DTC detected?

Perform diagnosis on the detected DTC and repair or replace the malfunctioning parts. Refer to DTC Index.

Replace ADAS control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.
