Nissan Murano: Dtc/circuit Diagnosis / B133a Avm Connection

DTC Description

DTC DETECTION LOGIC

POSSIBLE CAUSE

• Camera image signal circuit

• Around view monitor control unit

• AV control unit

FAIL-SAFE

Camera image is inoperative

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CONSULT

1. Ignition switch ON.

2. Ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.

3. Ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.

4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “MULTI AV”.

5. Check DTC.

Is DTC B133A–8F detected?

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN

1. Ignition switch OFF.

2. Disconnect AV control unit connector and around view monitor control unit connector.

3. Check the continuity between AV control unit connector and around view monitor control unit connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 2.

Repair harness or connector.

CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT

Check the continuity between AV control unit connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 3.

Repair harness or connector.

CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL

1. Connect AV control unit connector and around view monitor control unit connector.

2. Ignition switch ON.

3. Shift the selector lever to “R” position

4. Check the signal between AV control unit connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

Replace AV control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Replace around view monitor control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.
