Nissan Murano: Dtc/circuit Diagnosis / B132a External Usb

DTC Description

DTC DETECTION LOGIC

POSSIBLE CAUSE

• USB harness is not connected

• Harness or connector

• AV control unit

FAIL-SAFE

USB is inoperative

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CONSULT

1. Ignition switch ON.

2. Ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.

3. Ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.

4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “MULTI AV”.

5. Check DTC.

Is DTC B132A detected?

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

DETERMINE MALFUNCTION TYPE

CONSULT

1. Ignition switch ON.

2. Ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.

3. Ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.

4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “MULTI AV”.

5. Check DTC.

Is DTC B132A–01, 13 or 49 detected?

13 [OPEN] – GO TO 2.

01 [–] or 49 [–] – GO TO 3.

Refer to Intermittent Incident.

CHECK USB CIRCUITS FOR OPEN

1. Ignition switch OFF.

2. Disconnect AV control unit connector and front auxiliary input jacks control unit connector.

3. Check continuity between AV control unit connector and front auxiliary input jacks control unit connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

Replace AV control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE AGAIN

CONSULT

1. Ignition switch ON.

2. Erase DTC.

3. Perform DTC confirmation procedure again. Refer to DTC Confirmation Procedure.

Is DTC B132A–01 or B132A–49 detected again?

Replace AV control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Inspection End.
