Removal and Installation
CAUTION:
-
To replace TCM, perform "WRITE IP CHARA – REPLACEMENT TCM" of the CONSULT Work Support before removing TCM and save TCM data in CONSULT. Refer to Description.

When replacing TCM, note the “CVTF DETERIORATION DATE” value displayed on CONSULT “CONFORM CVTF DETERIORATION” in MAINTENANCE BOOKLET, before start the operation.

When replacing TCM, perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING TCM". Refer to Description.

When replacing TCM and transaxle assembly simultaneously, perform " ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING TCM AND TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY". Refer to Description.
REMOVAL
Remove the front air duct. Refer to Exploded View.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Refer to Exploded View.
Disconnect the harness connector from the TCM.
Remove the TCM and bracket as a set.
Remove the TCM from the bracket.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Adjustment
Perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING TCM". Refer to Description.
