Diagnosis Procedure

LH

CHECK FUSE

Check if any of the following fuses are blown:

Signal name Fuse No. Capacity
Battery power supply 60 15 A
Ignition power supply 29 10 A

Are the fuses blown?

YES>>

Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT CONTROL UNIT LH POWER SUPPLY

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect climate controlled seat control unit LH connector.

  3. Ignition switch ON.

  4. Check voltage between climate controlled seat control unit LH harness connector and ground.

    Climate controlled seat control unit LH
    Connector Terminal
    B204 26 Ground Battery voltage

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 7.

NO>>

GO TO 3.

CHECK CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT CONTROL UNIT LH POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect climate controlled seat relay connector.

  3. Check continuity between climate controlled seat control unit LH harness connector and climate controlled seat relay harness connector.

    B204 26 M58 6 Yes
  4. Check continuity between climate controlled seat control unit LH harness connector and ground.

    Climate controlled seat control unit LH Continuity

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 4.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connector.

CHECK CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT RELAY POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch ON.

  2. Check voltage between climate controlled seat relay harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 5.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connector.

CHECK CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT RELAY GROUND CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Check continuity between climate controlled seat relay harness connector and ground.

    Climate controlled seat relay Continuity

    M58 1 Ground Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 6.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT RELAY

Check climate controlled seat relay.

Refer to Component Inspection.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 7.

NO>>

Replace climate controlled seat relay.

CHECK CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT CONTROL UNIT LH GROUND CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Check continuity between climate controlled seat control unit LH harness connector and ground.

    Climate controlled seat control unit LH Continuity
    Connector Terminal
    B204 28 Ground Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connector.

RH

CHECK FUSE

Check if any of the following fuses are blown:

Battery power supply 57 15 A
Ignition power supply 29 10 A

Are the fuses blown?

YES>>

Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT CONTROL UNIT RH POWER SUPPLY

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect climate controlled seat control unit RH connector.

  3. Ignition switch ON.

  4. Check voltage between climate controlled seat control unit RH harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 7.

NO>>

GO TO 3.

CHECK CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT CONTROL UNIT RH POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect climate controlled seat relay connector.

  3. Check continuity between climate controlled seat control unit RH harness connector and climate controlled seat relay harness connector.

  4. Check continuity between climate controlled seat control unit RH harness connector and ground.

YES>>

GO TO 4.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connector.

CHECK CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT RELAY POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch ON.

  2. Check voltage between climate controlled seat relay harness connector and ground.

GO TO 5.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connector.

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Check continuity between climate controlled seat relay harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 6.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT RELAY

Check climate controlled seat relay.

Refer to Component Inspection.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 7.

NO>>

Replace climate controlled seat relay.

CHECK CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT CONTROL UNIT RH GROUND CIRCUIT

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Check continuity between climate controlled seat control unit RH harness connector and ground.

    Climate controlled seat control unit RH Continuity
    Connector Terminal
    B321 28 Ground Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO>>

Repair harness or connector.

Component Inspection

CHECK CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT RELAY

  1. Ignition switch OFF.

  2. Disconnect climate controlled seat relay connector.

  3. Check the continuity between climate controlled seat relay terminals under the following conditions:

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>
