Confirmation Procedure

CAUTION:

Diagnosis Procedure must be performed before starting “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE”. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

Never perform “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” before completing the repair, which may cause secondary malfunction.

PRECONDITIONIG

If “DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE” is previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before performing the next test.

GO TO 2.

CHECK DTC DETECTION

Start the engine.
Drive the Nissan Murano vehicle at constant vehicle speed on the flat load for 30 seconds or more.
Check DTC

Is “P0894” detected?

YES>>

Go to Diagnosis Procedure.

NO-1>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO-2>>

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END

Diagnosis Procedure

REPLACE TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY

Replace the transaxle assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation (front wheel drive) or Removal and Installation (all wheel drive).
