DTC Description

DTC DETECTION LOGIC

POSSIBLE CAUSE

• Side radar RH

• ADAS control unit

FAIL-SAFE

The following systems are canceled:

• Blind Spot Warning (BSW)

• Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CHECK DTC PRIORITY

If DTC “C1B53–97” is displayed with DTC “U1000–01”, first diagnose the DTC “U1000–01”.

Is applicable DTC detected?

Perform diagnosis of applicable. Refer to DTC Description.

GO TO 2.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CONSULT

1. Start the engine.

2. Perform “All DTC Reading”.

3. Check if the “C1B53–97” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” of “ICC/ADAS”.

Is “C1B53–97” detected as the current malfunction?

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End

CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS

Check if “U1000–01” is detected other than “C1B53–97” in “Self Diagnostic Result” of “ICC/ADAS”.

Is “U1000–01” detected?

Perform the CAN communication system inspection. Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts. DTC Description

GO TO 2.

CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS

CONSULT

Check if any DTC is detected in “Self Diagnostic Result” of “Side radar (Rear right)”.

Is any DTC detected?

Perform diagnosis on the detected DTC and repair or replace the malfunctioning parts. DTC Index

Replace the ADAS control unit. Removal and Installation
