DTC Description

Refer to System Description.

DTC DETECTION LOGIC

DTC No.	CONSULT screen terms (Trouble diagnosis content)	DTC detection condition
U1000	CAN COMM CIRCUIT (CAN COMM CIRCUIT)	Diagnosis condition	When ignition switch is ON.
		Signal (terminal)	-
		Threshold	When combination meter is not transmitting or receiving CAN communication signals.
		Diagnosis delay time	2 seconds or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

CAN communication system

FAIL-SAFE

The combination meter activates the fail-safe control if CAN communication with each unit is malfunctioning.

Refer to Fail-safe.

DTC Confirmation Procedure

PERFORM SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT

CONSULT

Ignition switch ON and wait for 2 seconds or more.
Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “METER/M&A”.
Check DTC.

Is DTC detected?

YES>>

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

NO>>

Refer to Intermittent Incident.

CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Check CAN communication system. Refer to Trouble Diagnosis Flow Chart.
