POSSIBLE CAUSE
Temperature around the distance sensor (ICC sensor) becomes extremely high.
FAIL-SAFE
The following systems are canceled:
Intelligent Cruise Control
Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)
Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (I-FCW)
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
CONSULT
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Wait for 10 minutes or more.
Start the engine.
Turn the MAIN switch of ICC system ON.
Perform “All DTC Reading” with CONSULT.
Check if the “C1A21–48” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “LASER/RADAR”.
Is “C1A21–48” detected as the current malfunction?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO>>Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
CHECK ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM
Check for any malfunctions in engine cooling system.
Is engine cooling system normal?
YES>>Replace the distance sensor (ICC sensor). Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Repair engine cooling system.

C1a23 Unit Low Temp
The gauge indicates the approximate fuel level in the tank.
The gauge may move slightly during braking, turning, acceleration, or going up or down hills.
The gauge needle returns to 0 (Empty) after the ignition switch is placed in the OFF position.
