PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
CONSULT

Ignition switch ON.
-
Erase DTC.
-
Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “TELEMATICS”.
-
Check DTC.
Is DTC B2EF0 detected?
YES>>Proceed to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO>>Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
CONFIRM DTC
Confirm which DTC is detected.
Is DTC B2EF0 [CIRC VOLT BELOW THRESHOLD] detected ?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>GO TO 3.
CHARGE INTERNAL BATTERY

Start engine.
-
Run engine for 30 minutes to allow TCU internal battery to charge.

GO TO 3.
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE AGAIN
Perform DTC confirmation procedure again. Refer to DTC Confirmation Procedure.
Is DTC B2EF0 detected again?
YES>>Replace TCU. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Inspection End.
