PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
CONSULT
Shift the selector lever to the P (Park) position.
Ignition switch ON and wait 2 seconds or more.
Shift the selector lever to any position other than P (Park) and wait 2 seconds or more.
Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “BCM”.
Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>Inspection End.
CHECK CVT SHIFT SELECTOR FUNCTION
CONSULT
Ignition switch ON.
Select “DETE/CANCL SW” and “DETE SW - IPDM” in “Data Monitor” mode of “BCM(INTELLIGENT KEY)”.
Check “DETE/CANCL SW” and “DETE SW - IPDM” indication under the following conditions:
| Monitor item | Condition | Indication | |
|---|---|---|---|
| DETE/CANCL SW | CVT Shift selector | In any position other than P (Park) | ON |
| P (Park) | OFF | ||
| DETE SW - IPDM | CVT Shift selector | In any position other than P (Park) | ON |
| P (Park) | OFF | ||
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO>>If “DETE/CANCL SW” function is incorrect. GO TO 2.
NO>>If “DETE SW - IPDM” function is incorrect. GO TO 5.
CHECK CVT SHIFT SELECTOR CIRCUIT (BCM)

The autolight system allows the headlights to turn on and off automatically. The autolight system can:
Turn on the headlights, front parking, tail, license plate and instrument panel lights automatically when it is dark. Turn off all the lights (except daylight running lights) when it is light. Keep all the lights on for a period of time after you place the ignition switch in the OFF position and all doors are closed.
