Transmission range switch
Shift position signal from BCM (CAN)
DTC DETECTION LOGIC

If DTC B210F is displayed with DTC U1000, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1000. Refer to DTC Description.
If DTC B210F is displayed with DTC U1010, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1010. Refer to DTC Description.

Ignition switch ON under the following conditions and wait for at least 1 second:
CVT selector lever is in the P (Park) or N (Neutral) position.
Do not depress the brake pedal.
Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “IPDM E/R”.
Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>Inspection End.
CHECK DTC WITH BCM
Refer to DTC Index.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
CHECK TRANSMISSION RANGE SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
Ignition switch ON.
Check voltage between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground under following condition:

LATCH system lower anchor locations - bench seat
Your vehicle is equipped with special anchor points that are used with LATCH system compatible child restraints. This system may also be referred to as the ISOFIX or ISOFIX compatible system. With this system, you do not have to use a vehicle seat belt to secure the child restraint unless the combined weight of the child and child restraint exceeds 65 lbs. (29.5 kg). If the combined weight of the child and child restraint is greater than 65 lbs. (29.5 kg), use the vehicle’s seat belt (not the lower anchors) to install the child restraint. Be sure to follow the child restraint manufacturer’s instructions for installation.
