NOTE:
When IPDM E/R power supply voltage is low (Approx. 7 - 8 V for about 1 second), the “DTC: B2099” may be detected.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
CONSULT
Ignition switch ON.
Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “IPDM E/R”.
Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES>>Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO>>Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
CHECK FUSE
Check that all of the fuses installed on the downstream of the contact point side circuit of the ignition relay-1 in IPDM E/R are not blown.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Replace the blown fuse after replacing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown.
CHECK IGNITION RELAY-1 CONTROL CIRCUIT VOLTAGE
Ignition switch ON
Check voltage between IPDM E/R harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation.
CHECK BATTERY VOLTAGE
Check battery voltage.
Which is the measurement result?
More than 12.4 V>>GO TO 4.
Less than 12.4 V>>Perform battery inspection. Refer to How to Handle Battery.
CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to Intermittent Incident.

Power Supply and Ground Circuit
When securing items using luggage hooks located on the back of the seat or side finisher do not apply a load over more than 6.5 lbs. (29 N) to a single hook.
The luggage hooks that are located on the floor should have loads less than 110 lbs. (490 N) to a single hook.
