DTC Description

DTC DETECTION LOGIC

B1427-55	ECU SETTING (Electronic control unit setting)	Diagnosis condition	When ignition switch is ON.
		Signal (terminal)	—
		Threshold	When no data is stored in the air bag diagnosis sensor unit.
		Diagnosis delay time	1 second or more.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Mistake of configuration of air bag diagnosis sensor unit
Incomplete configuration of air bag diagnosis sensor unit

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CHECK SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT

CONSULT

Ignition switch ON.
Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “AIR BAG”.

Is malfunctioning part detected?

YES>>

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

NO>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO>>

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

Diagnosis Procedure

PERFORM CONFIGURATION

Perform configuration for air bag diagnosis sensor unit.

Refer to Work Procedure.
