Nissan Murano: Dtc/circuit Diagnosis / B1360 Combination Meter

DTC Description

DTC DETECTION LOGIC

POSSIBLE CAUSE

• AV communication circuit is open

• Combination meter

FAIL-SAFE

Steering switch is inoperative

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CONSULT

1. Ignition switch ON.

2. Ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.

3. Ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.

4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “MULTI AV”.

5. Check DTC.

Is DTC B1360 detected?

Proceed to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

CHECK COMBINATION METER POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT

Check combination meter power supply and ground circuit. Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 2.

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

CHECK AV COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT

1. Ignition switch OFF.

2. Disconnect AV control unit connector and combination meter connector.

3. Check the continuity between AV control unit connector and combination meter connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

Replace combination meter. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
