Nissan Murano: Dtc/circuit Diagnosis / B1339 Rear Camera Connection

DTC Description

DTC DETECTION LOGIC

POSSIBLE CAUSE

• Camera image signal circuit

• Rear view camera

• Audio unit

FAIL-SAFE

Rear view camera is inoperative.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CONSULT

1. Ignition switch ON.

2. Ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.

3. Ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.

4. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “MULTI AV”.

5. Check DTC.

Is DTC B1339–8F detected?

Proceed to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN

1. Ignition switch OFF.

2. Disconnect audio unit connector and rear view camera connector.

3. Check the continuity between audio unit connector and rear view camera connector.

   Audio unit		Rear view camera		Continuity

   M122	49	D568	4	Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 2.

Repair harness or connector.

CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT

Check the continuity between audio unit connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 3.

Repair harness or connector.

CHECK CAMERA IMAGE SIGNAL

1. Connect audio unit connector and rear view camera connector.

2. Ignition switch ON.

3. Shift the selector lever to “R” position

4. Check the signal between audio unit connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

Replace audio unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Replace rear view camera. Refer to Removal and Installation.
