Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)

Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) with pedestrian detection

Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (I-FCW)
CHECK DTC PRIORITY
If DTC “U0433-83” is displayed with DTC “U1000–01”, first diagnose the DTC “U1000–01”.
Is applicable DTC detected?
YES>>Perform diagnosis of applicable. Refer to DTC Description.
NO>>GO TO 2.
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
CONSULT

Start the engine.
-
Turn the MAIN switch of ICC system ON.
-
Perform “All DTC Reading” mode.
-
Check if “U0433-83” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “ICC/ADAS”.
Is “U0433-83” detected as the current malfunction?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO>>Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
CHECK DTC PRIORITY
If DTC “U0433–83” is displayed with DTC “U1000–01”, first diagnose the DTC “U1000–01”.
Is applicable DTC detected?
YES>>Perform diagnosis of applicable. Refer to DTC Description.
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK DISTANCE SENSOR (ICC SENSOR) SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT
CONSULT
Check if any DTC is detected in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “LASER/RADAR”.
Is any DTC detected?
YES>>Perform diagnosis on the detected DTC and repair or replace the malfunctioning parts. Refer to DTC Index.
NO>>Replace the ADAS control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Autolight system
The autolight system allows the headlights to turn on and off automatically. The autolight system can:
Turn on the headlights, front parking, tail, license plate and instrument panel lights automatically when it is dark. Turn off all the lights (except daylight running lights) when it is light.
