One or more of the steering switches to control the information display are inoperative.
CHECK STEERING SWITCH CIRCUIT
Check steering switch circuit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Repair or replace harness or connector.
CHECK STEERING SWITCH RESISTANCE
Check steering switch resistance. Refer to Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Replace steering switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.
CHECK SPIRAL CABLE
Check spiral cable for continuity. Refer to Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace combination meter. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Replace spiral cable. Refer to Removal and Installation.
