Diagnosis Procedure
CHECK SUNSHADE MECHANISM
Check the following:

Operation malfunction caused by sunshade mechanism deformation, pinched harness or other foreign materials
.

Operation malfunction and interference with other parts by poor installation
.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
GO TO 2.
NO>>
Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
Perform anti-pinch procedure.
Refer to Special Repair Requirement.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
GO TO 3.
NO>>
GO TO 1.
RETEST THE ANTI-PINCH FUNCTION
Check anti-pinch operation. Refer to Special Repair Requirement.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
Inspection End.
NO>>
Replace the sunshade motor assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation.

PERFORM INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE
Perform initialization procedure.
Refer to Special Repair Requirement.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
GO TO 2...

CHECK FRONT DOOR SWITCH
Check (LH and RH) front door switches.
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

YES>>

Other information:
The distance to the vehicle ahead can be
selected at any time depending on the traffic
conditions.
Each time the distance switch
is
pushed, the set distance will change to
long, middle, short and back to long again,
in that sequence.
