Removal and Installation
CAUTION:
Before replacing the Sonar Control Unit, perform “BEFORE REPLACEMENT” to save or print current Nissan Murano vehicle specification. Refer to Description.
REMOVAL
Remove the glove box assembly and housing. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Disconnect the harness connector from the sonar control unit.
Remove screws (A) and the sonar control unit (1).

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
Be sure to perform “AFTER REPLACEMENT” when replacing Sonar Control Unit. Refer to Description.
Removal and Installation
REMOVALRemove instrument lower panel LH. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Disconnect harness connector from the sonar buzzer...

Diagnosis Procedure
Door does not lock/unlock with door request switch, and engine does not start when ignition switch is pressed while carrying Intelligent Key. (One Intelligent Key has the symptom, other keys operate normally.)SYMPTOM TABLE (ONE INTELLIGENT KEY HAS THE SYMPTOM, OTHER KEYS OPERATE NORMALLY) Door lock operation (remote keyless entry) Door lock operation (request switch) or back door open operation (opener switch of back door panel) Engine started with push-button ignition switch operation (Intelligent Key is within the detection area of inside key antenna) Engine started with push-button ignition switch operation (registered Intelligent Key placed next to push-button ignition switch)
