Nissan Murano: Three-point type seat belt with retractor / Shoulder belt height adjustment (front seats)
The shoulder belt anchor height should be
adjusted to the position best for you. For
additional information, refer to “Precautions
on seat belt usage” in this section. To
adjust, pull out the adjustment button
and move the shoulder belt anchor to the
desired position
, so the belt passes over
the center of the shoulder. The belt should
be away from your face and neck, but not
falling off your shoulder. Release the adjustment
button to lock the shoulder belt
anchor into position.

WARNING
- After adjustment, release the adjustment
button and try to move the
shoulder belt anchor up and down to
make sure it is securely fixed in
position.
- The shoulder belt anchor height
should be adjusted to the position
best for you. Failure to do so may reduce
the effectiveness of the entire
restraint system and increase the
chance or severity of injury in an
accident.
Seat belt hook
When the seat belt is not in use and when
folding down the rear seats, hook the rear
seat belts on the seat belt hooks.

Always be sure the center seat belt connector
tongue and connector buckle are
attached. Disconnect only when folding
down the rear seat.
To connect the buckle:
Pull out the connector tongue from the
retractor base ...
If, because of body size or driving position, it
is not possible to properly fit the
lap/shoulder belt and fasten it, an extender
that is compatible with the installed seat
belts is available for purchase...

Your vehicle has two types of security systems:
Vehicle security system
NISSAN Vehicle Immobilizer System
The vehicle security system provides visual
and audible alarm signals if someone
opens the doors, liftgate or the hood when
the system is armed. It is not, however, a
motion detection type system that activates
when a vehicle is moved or when a
vibration occurs.
