Select “MEMORY SW INDCTR” in “Active Test” mode of “AUTO DRIVE POS.”.

Check that the function operates normally.

CHECK SEAT MEMORY INDICATOR CIRCUIT

Ignition switch OFF.
-
Disconnect driver seat control unit and seat memory switch.
-
Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and seat memory switch harness connector.

Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.
Driver seat control unit Ground Continuity Connector Terminal B209 10 No 26
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Repair or replace harness.
CHECK MEMORY INDICATOR POWER SUPPLY
Check voltage between seat memory switch harness connector and ground.

YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Check the following:

Harness for open or short between memory indicator and fuse.
CHECK MEMORY INDICATOR
Refer to Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 4.
NO>>Replace seat memory switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.
CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to Intermittent Incident.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
CHECK SEAT MEMORY INDICATOR

Ignition switch OFF.
-
Disconnect seat memory switch.
-
Check continuity between seat memory switch terminals.
Seat memory switch Continuity Terminal (+) (-) 7 4 Yes 5
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Inspection End.
NO>>Replace seat memory switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.
