DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
PRECONDITIONING- 1
If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always perform the following procedure before conducting the next test.
Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
Turn ignition switch ON.
Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
TESTING CONDITION:
Before performing the following procedure, confirm that battery voltage is 11 V or more under ignition switch OFF condition.

GO TO 2.
PRECONDITIONING- 2
Check the following conditions:
| Ambient temperature | 0°C (32°F) or more |
Is the condition satisfied?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Satisfy the condition.
GO TO 3.
PERFORM COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK
Perform component function check. Refer to Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 4.
NO>>Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
Hold Nissan Murano vehicle speed at more than 40 km/h (25 MPH) for 180 consecutive seconds.
CAUTION:
Always drive Nissan Murano vehicle at a safe speed.
Check 1st trip DTC.
Is 1st trip DTC detected?
YES>>Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>INSPECTION END
CHECK REFRIGERANT PRESSURE SENSOR
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>INSPECTION END
NO>>Replace refrigerant pressure sensor. Refer to Removal and Installation.
