No.	Component	Function
1.	Combination meter	Combination meter transmits the Nissan Murano vehicle speed signal to BCM via CAN communication. BCM also receives the vehicle speed signal from ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) via CAN communication. BCM compares both signals to detect the Nissan Murano vehicle speed. Security indicator lamp is located on combination meter. Security indicator lamp blinks when ignition switch is in any position other than ON to warn that NISSAN Nissan Murano Vehicle IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-NATS [NVIS (NATS)] is on board. 2.	Push-button ignition switch	Push-button ignition switch has a push switch inside which detects that push-button ignition switch is pressed and then transmits ON/OFF signal to BCM. BCM changes the push-button ignition switch position with the operation of push-button ignition switch. BCM maintains the push-button ignition switch position status while push-button ignition switch is not operated. Refer to Push-button Ignition Switch.
3.	BCM (Body Control Module)	BCM controls INTELLIGENT KEY SYSTEM (ENGINE START FUNCTION), NISSAN Nissan Murano Vehicle IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-NATS [NVIS (NATS)] and VEHICLE SECURITY SYSTEM. BCM performs the ID verification between BCM and Intelligent Key when the Intelligent Key is carried into the detection area of inside key antenna and push-button ignition switch is pressed. If the ID verification result is OK, push-button ignition switch operation is available. Then, when the push-button ignition switch is placed ON, BCM performs ID verification between BCM and ECM. If the ID verification result is OK, ECM can start engine. Refer to Component Parts Location for detailed component location.
4.	Main power window and door lock/unlock switch	Refer to Door Lock and Unlock Switch (Driver Side).
5.	Outside key antenna LH	Outside key antenna (LH) detects whether Intelligent Key is outside the Nissan Murano vehicle or not and then transmits the signal to the BCM. Refer to Outside Key Antenna (LH).
6.	Door request switch LH	Door request switch transmits door lock/unlock request signal to the BCM. Refer to Front Door Request Switch (LH).
7.	Front door lock assembly LH	Door unlock sensor is integrated into front door lock assembly (LH). Door unlock sensor detects door LOCK/UNLOCK operation and then transmits the operation signal to BCM. Refer to Front Door Lock Assembly LH.
8.	Rear door lock actuator LH	Rear door lock actuator locks/unlocks the rear door latch assembly.
9.	Outside key antenna RH	Outside key antenna (RH) detects whether Intelligent Key is outside the Nissan Murano vehicle or not, and then transmits the signal to the BCM. Refer to Outside Key Antenna (RH).
10.	Door request switch RH	Door request switch transmits door lock/unlock request signal to the BCM. Refer to Front Door Request Switch (RH).
11.	Front door switch RH	Refer to Front Door Switch.
12.	Back door opener switch	Back door opener switch transmits door lock/unlock request signal to the BCM. Refer to Back Door Opener Switch.
13.	Back door lock assembly	Back door lock actuator locks/unlocks the back door latch assembly. Refer to Back Door Lock Assembly.
14.	CVT shift selector	CVT shift selector detects shift lever status, transmits detention switch signal to BCM. Refer to Component Parts Location for detailed component location.
15.	Remote keyless entry receiver	Refer to Remote Keyless Entry Receiver.
16.	Hood switch	Hood switch detects hood open/close condition and then transmits ON/OFF signal to BCM.
17.	Horn (low)	IPDM E/R energizes the horns when the security system is activated after door lock.

19.	Intelligent Key warning buzzer	Refer to Intelligent Key Warning Buzzer.
20.	IPDM E/R (Intelligent Power Distribution Module Engine Room)	IPDM E/R detects push-button ignition switch (push switch) status, and transmits push-button ignition switch status signal (CAN) to BCM. Refer to Component Parts Location for detailed component location.
21.	Inside key antenna (console)	Inside key antenna (console) detects whether Intelligent Key is inside the Nissan Murano vehicle or not and then transmits the signal to the BCM. Refer to Inside Key Antenna (Console).
22.	Stop lamp switch	Stop lamp switch detects that brake pedal is depressed, and transmits the signal to BCM. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Switch / Stop Lamp Switch.
23.	Inside key antenna (luggage room)	Inside key antenna (luggage room) detects whether Intelligent Key is inside the Nissan Murano vehicle or not and then transmits the signal to the BCM. Refer to Inside Key Antenna (Luggage Room).
24.	Outside key antenna (rear bumper)	Outside key antenna (rear bumper) detects whether Intelligent Key is outside the Nissan Murano vehicle or not and then transmits the signal to the BCM. Refer to Outside Key Antenna (Rear Bumper).
