Nissan Murano: Basic Inspection / Configuration (av Control Unit)

Description

Vehicle specification needs to be written with CONSULT because it is not written after replacing AV control unit.

Configuration has three functions as follows:

CAUTION:

• When replacing AV control unit, you must perform “Select Saved Data List” or "After Replace ECU" with CONSULT.

• Complete the procedure of “Select Saved Data List” or "After Replace ECU" in order.

• If you set incorrect “Select Saved Data List” or "After Replace ECU", incidents might occur.

• Configuration is different for each Nissan Murano vehicle model. Confirm configuration of each vehicle model.

• Never perform “Select Saved Data List” or "After Replace ECU" except for new AV control unit.

WRITING MODE SELECTION

CONSULT Configuration

Select “Re/programming, Configuration” of "MULTI AV".

GO TO 2.

GO TO 3.

WRITING Nissan Murano Vehicle SPECIFICATION

CONSULT Configuration

Select “Configuration” or “After Replace ECU”, and write the Nissan Murano vehicle specification saved in CONSULT to AV control unit.

CAUTION:

Do not perform any operation such as the navigation operation during configuration writing.

WRITE Nissan Murano Vehicle SPECIFICATION

CONSULT Configuration

1. Select “Re/programming, Configuration” of "MULTI AV".

2. Select “Manual Configuration”, and write the setting value as shown in the following table to AV control unit according to the Nissan Murano vehicle specification.

   CAUTION:

   Grasp vehicle specifications precisely. The control of ECU control may not function normally if the specifications are misread.

   NOTE:

   • The items shown in the list depend on Nissan Murano vehicle specifications.

   • The config list may not be displayed depending on vehicle specifications. This is not a malfunction.

   • If selection items are not displayed on the CONSULT screen, touch "NEXT".

PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS

CONSULT Self Diagnostic Result

Perform self-diagnosis of CONSULT, and check whether or not DTC B1341–55 is detected.

Is DTC B1341–55 detected?

GO TO 1.

GO TO 5.

OPERATION CHECK

Check that the operation of the AV control unit and camera images (fixed guide lines and predictive course lines) are normal.
