POSSIBLE CAUSE

Distance sensor (ICC sensor)
FAIL SAFE

Intelligent Cruise Control is cancelled.
PERFORM DISTANCE SENSOR (ICC SENSOR) SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT
CONSULT
-
Perform “All DTC Reading”.
-
Check if the “C1A12–78” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “LASER/RADAR”.
Is “C1A12–78” detected?
YES>>Refer to DTC Description.
NO>>GO TO 2.
VISUAL INSPECTION
-
Check distance sensor (ICC sensor) and distance sensor (ICC sensor) bracket for damage or looseness.
Does damage or looseness exist?
YES>>-
Repair or replace affected components. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Perform distance sensor (ICC sensor) alignment. Refer to Work Procedure.
-
Perform action test. Refer to Description.
GO TO 3.
PERFORM ADAS CONTROL SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT 1
CONSULT
Check if the “C1A12–78” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “ICC/ADAS”.
Is “C1A12–78” detected?
YES>>Replace distance sensor (ICC sensor). Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Inspection End

Autolight system
The autolight system allows the headlights to turn on and off automatically. The autolight system can:
Turn on the headlights, front parking, tail, license plate and instrument panel lights automatically when it is dark. Turn off all the lights (except daylight running lights) when it is light. Keep all the lights on for a period of time after you place the ignition switch in the OFF position and all doors are closed.
