When contamination or foreign materials adhere to the distance sensor (ICC sensor) area.
When driving while it is snowing or when frost forms on the distance sensor (ICC sensor) area.
When distance sensor (ICC sensor) area is temporarily fogged.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Stain or foreign material deposited on distance sensor (ICC sensor)
Cracked or scratched distance sensor (ICC sensor)
FAIL-SAFE
Intelligent Cruise Control system is canceled
Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) is canceled.
NOTE:
After distance sensor (ICC sensor) alignment is performed, the Nissan Murano vehicle must be driven at a speed of 4.5 MPH (7.2 km/h) or more for a minimum of 2 minutes before DTC C1A16 can be cleared.
