PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
CONSULT
Start the engine.
Turn the MAIN switch of ICC system ON.
Perform “All DTC Reading” with CONSULT.
Check if the “C1A01–16” or “C1A01–17” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “LASER/RADAR”.
Is “C1A01–16” or “C1A01–17” detected as the current malfunction?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO>>Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
CHECK DISTANCE SENSOR (ICC SENSOR) POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Check power supply and ground circuit of distance sensor (ICC sensor). Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace the distance sensor (ICC sensor). Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

Vehicle security system NISSAN Vehicle Immobilizer SystemThe vehicle security system provides visual and audible alarm signals if someone opens the doors, liftgate or the hood when the system is armed. It is not, however, a motion detection type system that activates when a vehicle is moved or when a vibration occurs.
