DTC Description

DTC DETECTION LOGIC

POWER SUPPLY CIR 1

(Power supply circuit)
Diagnosis condition When Ignition switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)
Threshold The battery voltage sent to distance sensor (ICC sensor) remains less than 8.6 V for 5 seconds
Diagnosis delay time
C1A01–17

POWER SUPPLY CIR 1

(Power supply circuit 1)
Diagnosis condition When Ignition switch is ON.
Signal (terminal)
Threshold The battery voltage sent to distance sensor (ICC sensor) remains more than 16.5 V
Diagnosis delay time

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • Connector, harness, fuse

  • Distance sensor (ICC sensor)

FAIL-SAFE

The following systems are canceled:

  • Intelligent Cruise Control

  • Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)

  • Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (I-FCW)

DTC Confirmation Procedure

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CONSULT

  1. Start the engine.

  2. Turn the MAIN switch of ICC system ON.

  3. Perform “All DTC Reading” with CONSULT.

  4. Check if the “C1A01–16” or “C1A01–17” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “LASER/RADAR”.

Is “C1A01–16” or “C1A01–17” detected as the current malfunction?

YES>>

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

NO>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO>>

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK DISTANCE SENSOR (ICC SENSOR) POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT

Check power supply and ground circuit of distance sensor (ICC sensor). Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace the distance sensor (ICC sensor). Refer to Removal and Installation.

NO>>

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
