PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
CONSULT
Start the engine.
Perform “All DTC Reading” with CONSULT.
Check if either “C1A0C-82” or "C1A0C-83" is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “LASER/RADAR”.
Is “C1A0C-82” or "C1A0C-83" detected as the current malfunction?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>Inspection End.
CHECK DISTANCE SENSOR (ICC SENSOR) SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT
CONSULT
Check if “U1000–01” is also detected with “C1A0C-82” or "C1A0C-83" in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “LASER/RADAR”.
Is “U1000–01” detected?
YES>>Perform the CAN communication system inspection. Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts. Refer to DTC Description.
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK ADAS CONTROL UNIT SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT
CONSULT
Check if any DTC is detected in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “ICC/ADAS”.
Is any DTC detected?
YES>>Perform diagnosis on the detected DTC and repair or replace the malfunctioning parts. Refer to DTC Index.
NO>>Replace the distance sensor (ICC sensor). Refer to Removal and Installation.

Driver’s side
The knee air bag is located in the knee bolster, on the driver’s and passenger’s side. All of the information, cautions and warnings in this manual apply and must be followed. The knee air bag is designed to inflate in higher severity frontal collisions, although it may inflate if the forces in another type of collision are similar to those of a higher severity frontal impact. It may not inflate in certain collisions.
