DTC Description

DTC DETECTION LOGIC

POSSIBLE CAUSE

• Remote keyless entry receiver

• Harness or connector

• BCM

FAIL-SAFE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CONSULT

1. Ignition switch ON.

2. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “BCM”.

Is DTC detected?

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

Inspection End.

CHECK REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY RECEIVER OUTPUT SIGNAL

1. Ignition switch OFF.

2. Check signal between BCM harness connector and ground using oscilloscope.

   (+)		(–)	Condition	Signal (Reference value)
   BCM
   Connector	Terminal
   M80	119	Ground	Standby state
   			Press the Intelligent Key lock or unlock button.

Is the inspection result normal?

Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.

GO TO 2.

CHECK REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY RECEIVER CIRCUIT

1. Disconnect BCM and remote keyless entry receiver connectors.

2. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and remote keyless entry receiver harness connector.

   M80	119	M86	2	Yes

3. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

   (+)		(–)	Continuity
   BCM
   Connector	Terminal
   M80	119	Ground	No

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 3.

Repair or replace harness.

CHECK REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY RECEIVER POWER SUPPLY

Check voltage between remote keyless entry receiver harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 4.

Check 10A fuse No. 25 [located in fuse block (J/B)].

Repair or replace harness between remote keyless entry receiver and 10A fuse No. 25.

CHECK REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY RECEIVER GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between remote keyless entry receiver harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

Replace remote keyless entry receiver. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Repair or replace harness.
