Ignition switch ON under the following conditions:

Shift selector lever is in the P (Park) or N (Neutral) position.

Do not depress brake pedal.

Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “BCM”.
-
Check DTC.
Is DTC detected?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>Inspection End.
INSPECTION START
CONSULT
-
Ignition switch ON.
-
Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “BCM”.
-
Check DTC.
-
Touch “ERASE”.
-
Perform DTC Confirmation Procedure. Refer to DTC Confirmation Procedure.
Is DTC detected?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Inspection End.
PERFORM BCM CONFIGURATION.
Perform the BCM configuration. Refer to Work Procedure.

GO TO 3.
INSPECTION START
CONSULT

Ignition switch ON.
-
Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “BCM”.
-
Check DTC.
-
Touch “ERASE”.
-
Perform DTC Confirmation Procedure. Refer to DTC Confirmation Procedure.
Is DTC detected?
YES>>GO TO 4.
NO>>Inspection End.
CONFIRM ECM PART NUMBER.
Confirm the part number of the installed ECM is correct.
Is the ECM part number correct?
YES>>Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Replace ECM. Refer to Removal and Installation.
