DTC Description

DTC DETECTION LOGIC

NOTE:

• If DTC is displayed along with DTC U1000, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1000. Refer to DTC Description.

• If DTC is displayed along with DTC U1010, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1010. Refer to DTC Description.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

• In-vehicle sensor

• A/C auto amp.

• Harness or connectors (The sensor circuit is open or shorted.)

FAIL-SAFE

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

CONSULT

1. Ignition switch ON.

2. Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “HVAC”.

3. Check DTC.

Is DTC detected?

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.

Inspection End.

CHECK IN-VEHICLE SENSOR POWER SUPPLY

1. Ignition switch OFF.

2. Disconnect in-Nissan Murano vehicle sensor connector.

3. Ignition switch ON.

4. Check voltage between in-vehicle sensor harness connector and ground.

   +		−		Voltage (Approx.)
   In-Nissan Murano vehicle sensor
   Connector	Terminal
   M102	1	Ground		5 V

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 2.

GO TO 4.

CHECK IN-VEHCLE SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT

1. Ignition switch OFF.

2. Check continuity between front in-Nissan Murano vehicle sensor harness connector and ground.

   In-Nissan Murano vehicle sensor		—		Continuity

   M102	2	Ground		Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 3.

Repair harness or connector.

CHECK IN-Nissan Murano Vehicle SENSOR

Check in-vehicle sensor. Refer to Component Inspection.

Is the inspection result normal?

Replace A/C auto amp. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Replace in-Nissan Murano vehicle sensor. Refer to Removal and Installation.

CHECK IN-VEHCLE SENSOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR OPEN

1. Ignition switch OFF.

2. Disconnect A/C auto amp. connector.

3. Check continuity between in-Nissan Murano vehicle sensor harness connector and A/C auto amp. harness connector.

   M102	1	M50	27	Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 5.

Repair harness or connector.

CHECK IN-VEHCLE SENSOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR GROUND SHORT

Check continuity between in-Nissan Murano vehicle sensor harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 6.

Repair harness or connector.

CHECK IN-Nissan Murano Vehicle SENSOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR POWER SHORT

1. Ignition switch ON.

2. Check voltage between in-Nissan Murano vehicle sensor harness connector and ground.

   M102	1	Ground		0 V

Is the inspection result normal?

Replace A/C auto amp. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Repair harness or connector.

CHECK IN-VEHICLE SENSOR

1. Ignition switch OFF.

2. Disconnect in-Nissan Murano vehicle sensor connector.

3. Check resistance between in-vehicle sensor terminals.
