Check voltage between moonroof motor assembly harness connector and ground.

NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK SUNSHADE SWITCH CIRCUIT

Ignition switch OFF.

Disconnect moonroof motor assembly connector and sunshade switch connector.

Check continuity between moonroof motor assembly harness connector and sunshade switch harness connector.

Check continuity between moonroof motor assembly harness connector and ground.
Moonroof motor assembly — Continuity Connector Terminal R4 2 Ground No 3
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Repair or replace the harness.
CHECK SUNSHADE SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between sunshade switch harness connector and ground.

NO>>Replace sunshade switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.
CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to Intermittent Incident.

When securing items using luggage hooks located on the back of the seat or side finisher do not apply a load over more than 6.5 lbs. (29 N) to a single hook.
The luggage hooks that are located on the floor should have loads less than 110 lbs. (490 N) to a single hook.
