Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

Remove lower instrument panel LH. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Place fuse box aside.

Disconnect harness connector from parking brake switch.

Remove parking brake pedal assembly nuts and place parking brake pedal assembly aside.

Remove adjusting nut from parking brake pedal.

Remove parking brake switch.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

  • Replace the parking brake switch if it has been dropped or sustained an impact.

  • Do not reuse the adjusting nut.

Adjust the parking brake cable if necessary. Refer to Inspection and Adjustment.
