Description

Transmits switch operation signal to moonroof motor assembly.

CHECK MOONROOF SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL

1. Ignition switch ON.

2. Check voltage between moonroof motor assembly harness connector and ground.

   R4	7	Ground	Moonroof switch is operated TILT DOWN or OPEN	0 V
   			Other than above	Battery voltage
   	8		Moonroof switch is operated TILT UP or CLOSE	0 V
   			Other than above	Battery voltage

Is the inspection result normal?

Inspection End.

GO TO 2.

CHECK MOONROOF SWITCH CIRCUIT

1. Ignition switch OFF.

2. Disconnect moonroof motor assembly connector and moonroof switch connector.

3. Check continuity between moonroof motor assembly harness connector and moonroof switch harness connector.

4. Check continuity between moonroof motor assembly harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 3.

Repair or replace the harness.

CHECK MOONROOF SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT

Check continuity between moonroof switch harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 4.

Repair or replace the harness.

CHECK MOONROOF SWITCH

Check moonroof switch.

Refer to Component Inspection.

Is the inspection result normal?

GO TO 5.

Replace moonroof switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.

CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

Refer to Intermittent Incident.

Inspection End.

CHECK MOONROOF SWITCH

1. Ignition switch OFF.

2. Disconnect moonroof switch connector.

3. Check continuity between moonroof switch terminals.

Is the inspection result normal?

Moonroof switch is OK.

Replace moonroof switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.
