When the shift lever is in the R (Reverse)
position and the vehicle speed is less than
approximately 9 mph (15 km/h), the RAB
system operates.
If a risk of a collision with an obstacle is
detected when your vehicle is backing up,

Monitor system), and the system will chime
three times. The system will then automatically
apply the brakes. After the automatic
brake application, the driver must
depress the brake pedal to maintain brake
pressure.
NOTE:
- The brake lights of the vehicle come
on when braking is performed by the
RAB system.
- Whenthe brakes operate,a noisemay
be heard. This is not a malfunction.

Your vehicle has two types of security systems:
Vehicle security system
NISSAN Vehicle Immobilizer System
The vehicle security system provides visual
and audible alarm signals if someone
opens the doors, liftgate or the hood when
the system is armed. It is not, however, a
motion detection type system that activates
when a vehicle is moved or when a
vibration occurs.
