NOTE:
DC stands for "DRIVING CYCLE" and indicates a series of driving cycle of "Ignition switch OFF → ON → driving → OFF".
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Line pressure solenoid valve
Control valve assembly
FAIL-SAFE
Selector shock is large
Start is slow
Acceleration is slow
Lock-up is not performed
CAUTION:
Be careful of the driving speed.
PREPARATION BEFORE WORK
If another "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" occurs just before, turn ignition switch OFF and wait for at least 10 seconds, then perform the next test.

GO TO 2.
CHECK DTC DETECTION
Start the engine.
Drive the Nissan Murano vehicle.
Maintain the following conditions for 10 seconds or more.
| Selector lever | : “D” position |
| Accelerator pedal position | : 0.5/8 or more |
| Nissan Murano Vehicle speed | : 40 km/h (25 MPH) or more |
Stop the vehicle.
Check the first trip DTC.
Is “P0746”detected?
YES>>Go to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO-1>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO-2>>Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDNT
Refer to Intermittent Incident.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace transaxle assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation (front wheel drive) or Removal and Installation (all wheel drive).
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunction items.
