Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

Lower front edge of map lamp assembly (1) down from headlining by releasing metals clips, then slide forward to clear pawls at rear.

Disconnect the harness connectors from the map lamp assembly and remove.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

Visually check metal clips and pawls for deformation and damage during installation. Replace if necessary.

Bulb Replacement

NOTE:

The map lamp bulbs are replaced as part of the map lamp.

REMOVAL

Remove map lamp assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove screws (A) from map lamp (2).

Release pawls and remove map lamp from map lamp assembly (1).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
