OUTLINE

• Exterior lamp battery saver system is controlled by each function of BCM and IPDM E/R.

  Control by BCM

  • Combination switch reading function

  • Exterior lamp battery saver function

  Control by IPDM E/R

  • Relay control function

• BCM turns the exterior lamp OFF*, according to the Nissan Murano vehicle status when ignition switch OFF while exterior lamp is ON, for preventing battery discharge.

*: Headlamp (HI/LO).

EXTERIOR LAMP BATTERY SAVER ACTIVATION

• BCM activates the timer and turns the exterior lamp OFF 45 seconds after the ignition switch is placed ON→OFF with the exterior lamps ON.

• When in any of following conditions (after the exterior lamp battery saver is activated), exterior lamps can be turned ON:

  • Ignition switch OFF→ACC/ON

  • Lighting switch is changed
