Nissan Murano: Instruments and controls / E-call (SOS) button (if so equipped)

The E-call (SOS) button is used in combination
with a NissanConnect® Services subscription
to call for assistance in case of an
emergency.
Pressing the button will (with a paid subscription)
reach a response specialist that
will provide assistance based on the situation
described by the vehicle’s occupant. For
additional information, or to enroll your vehicle,
refer to www.NissanUSA.com/connect,
www.Nissan.ca/NissanConnect, or
www.Nissan.ca/NissanConnect/fr or call
855–426–6628.
The vehicle should be driven with the VDC
system on for most driving conditions.
If the vehicle is stuck in mud or snow, the
VDC system reduces the engine output to
reduce wheel spin...
The Rear Door Alert system functions under
certain conditions to indicate there
may be an object or passenger in the rear
seat(s). Check the seat(s) before exiting the
vehicle...

WARNING
Never drive under the influence of alcohol
or drugs. Alcohol in the bloodstream
reduces coordination, delays reaction
time and impairs judgement. Driving
after drinking alcohol increases the

LATCH system lower anchor locations -
bench seat
Your vehicle is equipped with special anchor
points that are used with LATCH system
compatible child restraints. This system
may also be referred to as the ISOFIX
or ISOFIX compatible system. With this system,
you do not have to use a vehicle seat
belt to secure the child restraint unless the
combined weight of the child and child restraint
exceeds 65 lbs. (29.5 kg). If the combined
weight of the child and child restraint
is greater than 65 lbs. (29.5 kg), use the vehicle’s
seat belt (not the lower anchors) to
install the child restraint. Be sure to follow
the child restraint manufacturer’s instructions
for installation.
