Component Description

FUNCTIONS WITHIN THE SYSTEM

Each control unit is connected with CAN network. CAN terminator converts the electric current outputted from each control unit to CAN communication signal.

INDIVIDUAL FUNCTION WITHIN THE SYSTEM

The resistance of 120Ω is equipped with CAN terminator and generates a potential difference between the CAN-H line and CAN-L line.

INDIVIDUAL OPERATION

The current which flows CAN-H passes through terminator and returns to CAN-L. The terminator drops the voltages to generate potential difference between CAN-H and CAN-L. CAN terminator utilizes the potential difference and establish CAN communication circuit.

COMPONENT PARTS LOCATION

CAN terminator is integrated with a harness connector. Refer to Component Parts Location.
