PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
CONSULT

Start the engine and wait for approximately 10 minutes or more.
-
Select “All DTC Reading” mode.
-
Check if “C1A40–23” is detected as the current malfunction in “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “ICC/ADAS”.
Is “C1A40–23” detected as the current malfunction?
YES>>Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident.
NO>>Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
CHECK LANE INTERVENTION SWITCH CIRCUIT FOR OPEN

Disconnect the ADAS control unit and lane intervention switch connectors.
-
Check continuity between the ADAS control unit harness connector and lane intervention switch harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Repair or replace harness or connector.
CHECK LANE INTERVENTION SWITCH CIRCUIT FOR SHORT
Check continuity between the ADAS control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Repair or replace harness or connector.
CHECK LANE INTERVENTION SWITCH
Check lane intervention switch. Refer to Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace the ADAS control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Replace the lane intervention switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.
CHECK LANE INTERVENTION SWITCH
Check continuity of lane intervention switch terminals.
