POSSIBLE CAUSE
3CH CAN gateway
FAIL-SAFE
Transmission and reception of the signal between vehicle CAN communication circuit and diagnostic CAN communication circuit are stopped
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With CONSULT
-
Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 2 seconds or more.
-
Select “Self Diagnostic Result” mode of “3ch CAN GATEWAY” using CONSULT.
-
Check DTC.
Is DTC B2600-46 detected?
YES>>Proceed to Diagnosis Procedure.
NO>>To check malfunction symptom before repair: Intermittent Incident.
NO>>Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
PERFORM CONFIGURATION OF 3CH CAN GATEWAY
Perform 3CH CAN gateway Configuration. Refer to Description.
>>
GO TO 2.
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE AGAIN

Turn ignition switch ON.

Perform DTC confirmation procedure again. Refer to DTC Description.

Check DTC.
Is DTC B2600-46 displayed?
YES>>Replace 3CH CAN gateway. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>INSPECTION END

Driver and passenger supplemental knee air bag
Driver’s side
The knee air bag is located in the knee bolster, on the driver’s and passenger’s side. All of the information, cautions and warnings in this manual apply and must be followed. The knee air bag is designed to inflate in higher severity frontal collisions, although it may inflate if the forces in another type of collision are similar to those of a higher severity frontal impact. It may not inflate in certain collisions.
