Nissan Murano: Vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode switches / Automatic cancellation
A chime sounds under the following conditions
and the control is automatically canceled:
- When the vehicle ahead is not detected
and your vehicle is traveling below the
speed of 15 mph (24 km/h)
- When the system judges the vehicle is
at a standstill
- Whenthe shift lever is not in theD(Drive)
position, Manual mode.
- When the parking brake system is applied
- When the VDC system is turned off
- When VDC operates
- When distance measurement becomes
impaired due to adhesion of dirt
or obstruction to the sensor
- When a wheel slips
- When the radar signal is temporarily interrupted
If your vehicle comes closer to the vehicle
ahead due to rapid deceleration of that vehicle
or if another vehicle cuts in, the system
warns the driver with the chime and
ICC system display...

operate the vehicle in accordance with these system limitations could result in

NISSAN recommends using Genuine
NISSAN CVT Fluid NS-3 (or equivalent)
ONLY in NISSAN CVTs. Do not mix with
other fluids.
Do not use Automatic Transmission
Fluid (ATF) or manual transmission
fluid in a NISSAN CVT, as it may damage
the CVT...
Condition A:
In the following conditions, the AEB with
Pedestrian Detection system warning light
blinks and the system will be turned off
automatically:
The radar sensor picks up interference
from another radar source.
The camera area of the windshield is
misted or frozen...
