Component Parts Location

Center of instrument panel

Left side of instrument panel (View with fuse block (J/B) removed)

Back door lower finisher inside (View with back door lower finisher removed)

No.	Component	Function
1.	BCM (Body Control Module)	Operates the rear window defogger with the operation of rear window defogger switch. Performs the timer control for rear window defogger. Refer to Component Parts Location for detailed component location.
2.	A/C auto amp.	Transmits rear window defogger switch ON signal to the BCM. Transmits the indicator lamp ON signal when detecting the operation of rear window defogger. Refer to A/C Auto Amp.
3.	Accessory relay-1	Refer to System Description.
4.	Door mirror LH [wit heated mirrors (RH similar)]	Refer to Door Mirror Defogger.
5.	Rear window defogger	Refer to Rear Window Defogger.
6.	A/C switch assembly (rear window defogger switch)	Transmits rear window defogger switch ON signal. Turns the indicator lamp ON when detecting the operation of rear window defogger. Refer to Component Parts Location for detailed component location.
7.	Rear window defogger relay	Operates the rear window defogger and the door mirror defogger with the control signal from BCM.
8.	Rear window defogger condenser	Removes the noise that is generated when the rear window defogger turns ON/OFF.

Rear Window Defogger

Heats the heating wire with the power supply from the rear window defogger relay to prevent the rear window from fogging up.

Door Mirror Defogger

Heats the heating wire with the power supply from the rear window defogger relay to prevent the door mirror from fogging up.
